Support a Native Staff Member
It is extremely difficult for a native speaker to raise his or her personal financial support. The RLI and ISLC have several native-speaking staff who are terribly short on their current support. In fact, they are forced to work part-time jobs on the side to provide for their families.
We invite you to prayerfully consider sponsoring a native instructor. 100% of your gift will be applied to our native staff account. You may decide to give to a particular person’s needs, or you also have the option of giving to our general fund and your gift will be divided among those instructors who currently have the greatest needs. Please call us if you have any questions.
Current Native Instructors and Their Financial Needs
Lyudmyla Falter: Lyudmyla works as a Russian language instructor, and teaches our missionaries how to converse. She is currently able to work only on a very limited basis due to a shortage in funding for her service with ISLC. She is in need of an additional $1430.00 per month to continue serving with the RLI, which she is definitely passionate about.
Andrej & Sasha Gavrilyuk: The Gavrilyuks also work in the Russian Language Institute and teach several different classes. Sasha works as a conversation teacher, while Andrej teaches both conversation and Russian Bible. The Gavrilyuks are in need of an additional $1280.00 per month.
Kunming Su (Thomas Su): In the States Kunming is known as “Thomas.” Thomas serves as a Chinese language instructor and is currently helping us to develop our Chinese curriculum. He teaches in our evening Chinese program, and hopes to help us develop our full-time intensive Chinese program. Thomas and his family are in need of $1500.00 per month to be able to fulfill their calling to help missionaries with the training they need for serving in China.
