A little bit about us....

Russian Language Ministries’ Russian Language Institute is an intensive, year-round, language school and cross-cultural training center located on the campus of Columbia International University.

Russian Language Ministries (RLM) specializes in training missionaries, professionals, and business people who are preparing to work in Russian-speaking countries. The Russian Language Institute provides the kind of well-rounded training experience essential for those who wish to be successful in the Russian-speaking world.

Russian Language Ministries is a part of the Institute of Strategic Languages & Cultures (ISLC)

Since 1992, Russian Language Ministries has been known for meeting a critical need in training missionaries to the former Soviet Union. We feel that God is now leading Russian Language Ministries to expand in order:

  • To offer training in the most strategic languages spoken on earth
  • To offer language cultural houses for each language, simulating cultural immersion for advanced students
  • To expand the culture and history departments to include many other cultures

We are prayerfully exploring options and raising funds to establish the Institute of Strategic Languages and Cultures to include:

  • Russian
  • Arabic
  • Chinese and other languages
