Give to a needy staff member

All ISLC staff raise their personal financial support.  Without the generous gifts of individuals like you, this vital ministry would simply not exist.

It is currently ISLC policy that 100% of a donor’s financial gift goes to the account for which it is designated.  In giving to our staff, you have the option of either designating your gift for our Staff General Fund, in which case it will be given to the individual or individuals with the greatest need, or you may designate your gift for a specific staff person’s account.  We will change the staff information below, as situations change.  You may also request at any time a report of an individual staff member’s current financial support level.  Please call us anytime if you would like more information.

David Morton:  David currently serves in an administrative role and aids us in the enrollment of new students, website maintenance and the logistics involved in the development of our new overseas programs.

Several years ago, David’s wife, Laura, who was 7-months pregnant, contracted a rare disease called Aplastic Anemia.  Following the loss of their only child, they began a protracted struggle with this deadly condition.  By God’s grace, Laura survived this disease, but the situation thrust them into severe dept due to the many medical expenses incurred.  And due to the need to be present and care for Laura during this time, David has been unable to raise up the prayer and support partners they need.  Yet, he has faithfully served these many months mostly as a volunteer, with little or no compensation, while we have endeavored to do what we can to help.

The Mortons are living on very little and are in great need of monthly financial support. They hope to find an additional $3300.00 per month.
